Reading this with my 10 year old. He wanted to make sure I let you know that these are pretty cool sculptures. :-) (I agree)

a lovely uplifting post, thank you james. as U.S. folk singer and political activist phil ochs said over 50 years ago, "ah but in such an ugly time the true protest is beauty"

Thanks for sharing! I always wonder how these sculptures were made, so precise, so detailed, so real.

Sometimes I seriously question if they were once real people, turned to stone by some ancient alien tech, like a Medusa situation.

They just look too perfect to be purely human-made. Just saying. 😄

The King Arthur is stunning and ghostly evocative. These are all great. I don't see a way to at least buy you a cup of coffee so doing a one month subscription in its place.

All of these are beautiful in their own way. I do love the Angel of the North in England too.

When the base and callous depravity of our 'supposed' leaders who glamour for our respect floods and poisons our media stream, it is such a vital and refreshing breeze to come across your posts. Thank you so much. Beauty itself is uplifted by your attention.

Thank you for reminding us that art can heal and can mirror our collective humanity and wonder. I loved the quote by John Lennon.

That mankind is capable of imagining and creating incredible beauty, grace, and messaging in art, music, and dance while simultaneously devising and causing so much vile death, destruction, and disharmony may be THE most unanswerable, dichotomous conundrum.
