Arce has earned over $431,000 in her career. She has won 16 event titles and finished second in the 1997 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Los Angeles with Holly McPeak. Arce and Barbra Fontana won the first-ever Oldsmobile Alero event in 1999 at Huntington Beach, Calif. Arce won the 1998 Best of the Beach title in Huntington Beach that determined the United States' top female beach player. Arce was named the WPVA's 1994 Rookie-of-the-Year and the Most Improved player in 1995. Arce competed in volleyball Cal-Berkeley where she was a four-year starter and a two-time All-Pacific 10 performer. She ranks among the school's all-time leaders in digs, kills, attempts and service aces. Her brother (Rick), a former beach pro, coaches her now. Arce is a volleyball coach in the Manhattan Beach school district and is working to complete her teaching credentials. She is married to Andrew Zimmerman in March 2001.
